Christopher Martin is a singer of romantic and roots reggae who won Digicel Rising Stars in 2005, at eighteen, and whose second album, And Then (2019), went to number one on the Billboard reggae albums chart.

He grew up in Back Pasture, St. Catherine, went to Watermount All-Age School and St. Jago High School, where he was named Mr. St. Jago and won a drama prize in 2003, and in 2005 took a gold medal for singing in the Jamaica National Skills competition. His first singles after Rising Stars included "Love Is All We Need," "Giving It" and "Jamaican Girls."

In 2013 he signed with VP and with Shaggy and Robert Livingston's Big Yard label. Hits including "Cheaters Prayer," "Big Deal," "Fi Mi Fren," "Dem" and "Under the Influence" followed; the EP Steppin Razor reached number fifteen on the Billboard reggae chart in 2015 and the album Big Deal number three in 2017, before And Then. Erik Magni of United Reggae calls him "a certified reggae crooner with a passionate and urgent voice."
