Andrew Tosh is a singer, the eldest son of Peter Tosh and of Shirley Livingston, Bunny Wailer's sister, who has made his career partly in his own right and partly as the keeper of his father's songs.

Born Carlos Andrew McIntosh in Kingston, he made his first record in 1985, "Vanity Love," produced by the deejay Charlie Chaplin. His father's life was taken in 1987; after singing "Jah Guide" and "Equal Rights" at the funeral, he decided, as he put it, "to take it a hundred percent serious." His first album, Original Man, followed, and his second, Make Place for the Youth (1989), was nominated for the Grammy for Best Reggae Album; he toured with the Wailers Band in 1991.

Later albums include Andrew Sings Tosh: He Never Died (2004) and Legacy: An Acoustic Tribute to Peter Tosh (2010), with Ky-Mani Marley and Bunny Wailer among the guests, which brought a second Grammy nomination.
